How to Join

Magic is a great hobby! It's a great feeling to be able to share magic with your friends and family and to see their faces light up with amazement. It's also fun to learn some of the secrets behind what makes magic so enjoyable and entertaining.

We welcome you to join us as a guest to see what the International Brotherhood of Magicians is all about. Our local chapter of the IBM (called a Ring) is the "Inez Blackstone Kitchen Ring 81". If you like what you see - and we're sure that you will - come back again and start the application process.

Since the magical arts are based largely on secrecy, there are several requirements that our Ring has established for applicants.

Let's go over them in a nuts-and-bolts format:

1. Persons interested in joining Ring 81 must attend 2 meetings as a "Guest" and pay the accompanying guest fee of $10.00 each time.(These fees will be applied to membership dues upon fulfillment of all requirements.)

2. Applications for the International Brotherhood of Magicians and Ring 81 must be completed and all applicable dues paid current.

3. Applicants must be sponsored by 2 current Ring 81 members.

4. Applicants must "audition" for membership by performing a simple magic trick.
